(Optional) Quick description of your couple: When Barren headed out into the forest during last year's Starfall season, he had been one of the few flowerlings not searching for fallen stars. He was a simple bean, and was content to leave the glittering stars to younger beans who would be better gifted with the excitement of gathering. His search was simply for wood for his carving, nothing more, nothing less.
Instead, another flowerling happened upon him during her gathering. Arwen is a collector and keeper of dreams, and Starfall is a busy season for someone like her. As she scavenged for fallen stars, their paths crossed, and Barren made a comment about how he'd never seen a blue star before. Curious, Arwen peered into the dream using her specialized magic, and saw the image of the flowerling in front of her being a gruff but caring guardian for many young beans.
Touched by the scene, Arwen decided that she was intrigued by Barren. From then on, the two could often be found near one another. Arwen has a confidence and understanding that few other beans tend to keep around Barren's gruff nature, and her immunity to his unintentional intimidation makes her someone whose friendliness seems to catch him by surprise often. Quick description of your couple: 'Fauna is a gentle flowerling with a love for animals and other creatures, big and small. She keeps a sanctuary for abandoned creatures and is known for bringing home any injured animals that she may come across and rehabilitating them. This happens often enough that if other beanlings or flowerlings know of an animal that needs more dedicated care they either bring them to Fauna or let her know.
When reports of an injured creature roaming near the snowy mountains of Versii reached her, Fauna packed some supplies, bundled herself up and made her way toward the mountains in search of it. By the time she was able to locate it (it had made it quite a bit aways from the nearest town) there wasn’t much more than an hour of daylight left.
Meanwhile, Feng made a point to be aware of any outsiders approaching too closely to his mountain, and it was hard to not notice the bright spot of green against the snowy white expanse. While he typically would make a point to keep any strangers away from his home, he couldn’t help but have his curiosity piqued by this flowerling that came so far out just for one animal most others would leave to the elements (and if he were to be honest, he had a soft spot for animals too, but he’d never actually admit it to anyone).
Knowing Fauna wouldn’t make it to town before dark he went down to meet her and offered to house the animal in his cave for the night to protect it from the harsh cold. Fauna agreed on the condition that she could stay too so that she could make sure it was well cared for, determined to make the trek back anyways if not. Taken aback by the seriousness in her tone, he agreed.
Feng would check in on them several times throughout the night under the pretense of being cautious of having a stranger in his home, secretly listening in while Fauna focused on making sure the rescued animal was safe and comfortable and telling Feng’s children of the other creatures she cared for and tales of her other expeditions.
(Optional) Quick description of your couple: When Aurora and Nomi had their falling out due to Takeshi's insecurity, Flitter may very well have been the only person who truly saw how it affected Nomi. Nomi does her best to not be a burden to others, and often feels as though any negative emotions she might have would be exactly that. However, if Nomi learned one thing from her wisher, it was that taking some time in a quiet place with a warm cup of tea can help soothe even the most persistent sadness. She had already been a familiar face around Flitter's shop, but during the last year or so the two became a little closer as Flitter tried to comfort her friend in her own gentle way. Even now, as Aurora and Nomi try to repair their friendship, Flitter still worries. She sincerely wishes that Nomi will be able to grow past the hurt in order to be close to another flowerling again, and honestly, Nomi hopes so too.
